Summary

Sporty !
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I must be mad
Would you buy this car again and why?
No I would not as the depreciation is now awful for most BMW's including the Z4- the reviews have been very misleading on this car across all of the major car magazines stating "Cast Iron Residuals" - my car is one year old, cost £28,000 new and with 10,000 miles now is worth £18,000 -lost £10K in 12 months!
What are you likely to buy next?
Porsche Boxster / Audi TT Coupe

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handles brilliantly and very sharp. Downside are the 18 inch alloys and run-flats can make the drive harsh over rough surfaces
What's it like to park?
has parking sensors which really help, front end could do with them too as car has long bonnet. There are some bad blind spots when roof up and at T junction. You need to position car at these correctly.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Headlamps steamed up, engine Management / electronic problems, but all resolved quickly under BMW warranty BMW Bluetooth system still out dated with newer phones
What's most practical about your car?
Its not bad for a soft top, but hardly practical
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated seats and wind deflector. BMW Bluetooth system hopeless!
