What does this car say about you?

Hmm.... bit flashy. Although I don't really care about that.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They really like it. The missus loves it and is going to miss it when it goes.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, it's amazing in summer although I'd get a bigger engine next time and probably the new model.

What are you likely to buy next?

Big engined executive road loner (5 Series or Jaguar XF). Or maybe a 3 Series - bit boring but really polished car.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not really - a good deal but I got a lot of toys that were rarely all put together.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted something to play with, wasn't being very practical. Love BMWs and thought my old Z3 was long in the tooth.

What was the dealer like?

Really friendly, knew his cars and was enthusiastic about marque's cars.

What's it like to drive?

A joy. The straight-six sounds amazing although it needs working hard occasionally to get the most out of it. It's very grippy with very little roll and although the suspension is very clever, it's also very unforgiving on anything but smooth Tarmac.

What's it like to park?

Simple, parking sensors help.

Have you had any problems with the car?

A few bits but given it's 10 years old, it's not really a surprise. Starter motor, radiator, door catch, wing mirror motor/controller, DISA valve (common issue).

What's most practical about your car?

Very little. There's some cup holders and the boot is bigger than rivals.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated seats!
