You know what a decent 2 seater roadster is. Its no MX-5.

They loved it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes but the M version.
What are you likely to buy next?
All I want now is a Z4 M Coupe - nothing else.

No - just really wanted one!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great fun to drive. Low speed burble or hight speed howl from the straight 6. Handling was enough for me...if you want the back end out safely then you can just turn the traction control half off.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear coil spring snapped. Quite a common fault, £380 for a pair. DISA valve fail, £180. Both at BMW dealer.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing really - but you dont buy one for practicallity. You can get a trolly fully shopping or a suitcase or a set of golf culbs in the boot - what more do you want?
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The fast fully electric hood. I had an S2000 previously and it was nice not to have to mess about with clips on the hood. The auto lights and wipers were good.
