What does this car say about you?
Its in my opinion one of the best looking cars on the road under £100k. So I must be stylish!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They really like.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes but long for the new Porsche Caymen. Maybe one day but plan to keep this for a number of years if all goes to plan.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a Caymen but would have another Z4.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes was really pleased. Offered me a good price for my Merc CLS & agreed to provide service pack which for some reason previous owner had not purchased.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Test drove the new Porsche Boxster & wanted a similar car at a fraction of the cost. Hardtop a bonus after previously having an Audi TT Roadster which was fantastic but roof took a lot of care. 3.5 with DCT was the only real alternative.
What was the dealer like?
Salesman 'Euan' at Harry Fairburn in Irvine was first class. No hassle made quick decision on trade in and stuck with that price as their best price. The way to do business. Service Dept not quite so good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nearly as good as the Boxster. Put the front end in and back is controllable. Fast 0-60 in 4.9 sec with DCT. Don't need anything faster unless you do track driving.
What's it like to park?
Not bad thanks to parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
All alloys corroded & refurbished under warranty. Also wear on leather trim from seatbelt. Design fault in my opinion but new facia put on under warranty. Also faulty alarm also sorted, but took sometime for part to arrive from Germany.
What's most practical about your car?
Not really practical but not supposed to be. Good interior space though.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
DCT, brilliant.
