After more than ten years on sale, Citroen is set to bring an end to the Xsara Picasso model. In this time more than 270,000 examples of the popular family car have been sold.
The model was first presented back in 1999 at the Geneva Motor Show and went on to become one of the most popular people carriers available.
The Picasso range was later extended in 2007 with the arrival of the seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso which was then joined by the five-seat C4 Picasso version.
More recently - in 2009 - the Picasso range was expanded even further by the C3 Picasso.
This left the Xsara Picasso as the value-for-money proposition people carrier as a new car buy with many pre-reg examples at bargain prices that can still be found now.
