Kia has announced pricing for its new Sportage model. The soft-roader will land on UK forecourts on November 1 and the entry level 1.6-litre direct-injection petrol unit will start from £16,645.

Customers who are after a diesel model will pay from £18,145 for the 1.7-litre turbodiesel.

The 2.0-litre AWD models starts from £20,800 while the top-of-the-range 2.0-litre CRDi KX-3 Sat Nav AWD Automatic is priced from £26,170.

Flagship models are available with a fully integrated satellite navigation system, featuring a 7-inch full-map colour touchscreen.

The new Sportage is available in three trim grades - badged 1, 2 and 3 in line with the rest of the Kia range, with all-wheel-drive (AWD) versions at the mid and high grade level given the familiar KX preface.

Metallic or mica paint is an optional £435 and all models come with a seven-year warranty as standard.
