German manufacturer Volkswagen is set to add the Match trim level to the Tiguan model.
Previously seen on the Polo, Golf and Touran models, the Match spec will replace the SE trim level on the Tiguan and come with a number of extra features.
The Match version will now get Park Assist, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, climate control, a touchscreen DAB digitak radio and leather multi-function steering wheel.
This comes on top of the current standard equipment that includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a six-CD autochanger, heat insulating glass, six airbags and stability control.
Two petrol engines and two diesel versions are available on the new version. The petrol choices are a 1.4-litre version with 148bhp and a 2.0-litre choice with 167bhp. The diesel options are both the 2.0 TDI engine with 138bhp and 167bhp. The 2.0-litre petrol version and 137bhp diesel choice are available with the option of a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
The Match will cost £240 more than the current SE model.
Prices will start at £22,110 for the 1.4-litre BlueMotion Technology two-wheel-drive model
