Prices confirmed for Renault vans

Renault has announced the pricing and specification for the Kangoo Van Maxi and the Trafic Phase 3.

Pricing for the Kangoo Van Maxi will start from £12,590 excluding VAT and on-the-road charges and is available to order now. There are two trim levels to choose from, LL and LL+ making this version £500 more expensive than standard models.

On the inside, the Kangoo Van Maxi is equipped with a radio/CD an aux input for MP3 players, a full steel bulkhead and eight load anchorage points.

The Kangoo Van Maxi has an increased load capacity: now it's got 4 cubic metres in two-seat form and rising to 4.6 cubic metres when the passenger seat is folded. This also means that the payload is now 800kg.

Two variants of the 1.5-litre diesel engine in 85bhp and 105bhp are available across the five versions of the full Kangoo Van Maxi range.

On the crew van version, with the luggage retention net in place and the rear three seats upright, the five-seat version offers a load volume of 1.1 metre cubed up to the height of the rear seats.

However, fold the rear bench and the passenger seat and the load capacity expands to 4.6 cubic metres. There is a reduction in payload of 60kg, giving a total of 740kg for the crew van.

There are a range of options available: a sat-nav, climate control, cruise control, folding passenger seat, swivelling bulkhead (van only), rear parking sensors and a speed limiter while, rear curtain airbag and protective luggage net are available on the crew van.

Renault has also announced pricing and specification for the Trafic Phase 3. It will start from a price of £16,400 for the panel van, while the crew vans are priced from £18,750. All prices exclude VAT and on-the-road charges and the Trafic Phase 3 is available to order now.

The Trafic Phase 3 now includes Bluetooth and sat-nav, a full steel bulkhead, remote central locking with deadlocking and R.A.I.D. (Renault Anti-Intruder Device door locking above 5mph) as standard. While climate control is available as an option for the first time

A total of 42 versions are available in the Trafic Phase 3 range, covering short, long wheelbase, low and high roof configurations.

The Trafic Phase 3 offers load volumes from 5 cubic metres to 8.36 cubic metres and there a range of diesel engines to choose from with power outputs of 90bhp, 115bhp and 150bhp.
