Chevrolet is set to introduce a new top-of-the-range Captiva with new features.

On sale now, the LTZ will cost £27,305 for the manual version and £28,630 for the auto with the manufacturer claiming the model to be a Range Rover Sport and BMW X5 rival for £20,000 less.

This new top trim-level model gets full leather interior, climate control, cruise control, electrically-adjustable driver's seat, automatic lights and wipers, 18-inch alloys, privacy glass, stability sontrol and electrically folding mirrors as standard.

Also on offer for the first time is a reverse parking camera as well as a touch screen sat-nav, plus USB input.

Both the automatic and manual options are powered by a 148bhp 2.0 VCDi engine. The manual model offers 38.2mpg while the automatic manages 32.8mpg.
