  • Detail changes inside and out
  • More efficient petrol and diesel engines
  • New trim level names

Suzuki has carried out a number of revisions to its SX4 model, with a mild facelift and tweaked engines.

A redesigned front bumper and grille, along with new alloy wheel designs, complete the exterior revisions, while inside is a new look lower dashboard panel with a display housing the stereo and air conditioning controls, as well as a redesigned instrument dash.

Under the bonnet are upgraded versions of the two engines offered - a 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. The 1.6 petrol now offers 120bhp while the diesel reduces its CO2 emissions to 129g/km and a new claimed combined fuel economy of 57.6mpg. However, road tax costs stay at £120 for the diesel despite coming down a road tax band from E to D.

Front-wheel drive models are available now, with a four-wheel drive option arriving in April.

There is also new tirim level names to bring the SX4 into line with other Suzukis - the trim level grades are SZ3, SZ4 and SZ5.

Prices start at £11,640.
