New eco Fabia will return 83mpg

  • 83mpg Fabia Combi and 67mpg Roomster launched
  • Both models feature new, frugal  1.2-litre TDi engine
  • Green technology includes start/stop and energy recuperation

Skoda has unveiled the Fabia Combi GreenLine II and Roomster GreenLine II, in a bid to boost its eco-friendly line-up.

The models use the second generation of the GreenLine range and come with start/stop, energy recuperation and gear recommendation technology.

Customers receive the choice of a leaner and greener engine. The 1.2-litre TDI with 75bhp has an average consumption of 83mpg and has a CO2 output of 89g/km on the Fabia Estate GreenLine II, while on the Roomster GreenLine  II it averages 67mpg and has a CO2 output of 109g/km.

 

Other technologies introduced on the GreenLine II models to improve economy and reduce emissions include, a lowered and aerodynamically-covered chassis and low rolling resistance tyres.

Prices for the Skoda Fabia GreenLine II and the Roomster GreenLine II are to be confirmed.
