Vauxhall has launched a new Expression trim range that is cheaper than current base models.
The one-litre Corsa Expression is priced at £9995 - a saving of £1070 over the current EcoFlex model and the new Astra Sport Hatch Expression is £13,995 - around £2,000 less than the cheapest Exclusiv model.
The Expression range also incorporates the five-door Astra, the Astra Twin Top and the Zafira.
Corsa and Astra Sports Hatch Expression buyers will get slightly less equipment but Astra Expression trades no kit or cosmetics for its lower price compared with the S model.
The Zafira Expresson costs £14,995 - £3,675 cheaper than the current entry level Life model - but buyers won't get air conditioning or roof rails.
Vauxhall has introduced an ES model to the Insignia range to replace the S trim. The ES costs £17,120 - a saving of £1,700 - and it features standard 17-inch alloy wheels and a better CD player with MP3.
