The best glass polish: Streak-free vision

• The best glass cleaners for your car

Written by Ryan Gilmore Updated: 9 November 2022

Cleaning the glass on your car is often overlooked, yet clearly, it makes sense. Car shampoo is excellent at getting grub and dirt off your vehicle, and while it will clean your windows, it won’t give them the cleanse they need while protecting them, giving you longer between cleans.

Thankfully at Parkers, we cannot stand windows marred with water stains or streaks from windscreen wipers, so the want for a decent glass polish is high. Our resident happy detailer Ryan Gilmore has been cleaning windows for years, and if you could see what he could see when he’s cleaning windows, you’d be amazed.

So we’ve put together a list of the best glass polish for your car, with convenient clothes and demisters to get the job done.

The best glass polish

Soft99 Glasco

Price: £11.99 | VIEW OFFER

We’ve had this one on test and loved the results. Ryan said:

“Very easy to use and with long-lasting hydrophobic action, SOFT99’s Glaco series is worth considering for extra safety and visibility on the road. It performs far better than a simple spray-on repellent and is easy to integrate into a car wash. The fact you don’t need to faff with finding and cleaning a separate applicator only sweetens the deal.”

Pros
Low cost
Long-lasting
Easy to apply

Cons
The packaging is annoying

For use on the inside and outside of your windows, this from Autoglym claims to remove all contaminants leaving a crystal clear, smear-free finish.
