A slightly lower-end model to the V12 is the V8 from Dyson. It had a 40-minute runtime which is more comparable to some of the middle-range Shark and Vax vacuums available. It's a little heavier than the V12 at 2.6kg, but it represents better value for money - especially on Black Friday.
