When is Black Friday?
Black Friday 2024 falls on Friday, November 29th, but plenty of spectacular deals will go live in the weeks before. Keep an eye on this page, as we’ll regularly update it to show the best deals as they go live.
What is Black Friday?
It’s an American creation, like cheese-in-a-can and cup holders. Black Friday takes place the day after Thanksgiving, making it the unofficial start to the Christmas shopping season, where the majority of retailers drop prices to entice customers.
No longer are there fights at the tills and punch-ups in the car park, the majority of the buying now takes place online. Expect a few arguments with the family, though.
What are the best Black Friday deals for motorists?
Last year was a golden year for deal hunting, and here’s a small slice of the best deals we came across.
Dash cams really stood out as excellent value, with the Nextbase 222XR dipping down to less than £90 from an RRP of £139.95. This year it’s on sale at £112.
Bosch sliced its excellent 110 Pressure Washer down to £50, a monumental saving for such a solid device. Find it at the Amazon sale right now for £67.
It wasn’t just the expensive products that had handsome discounts, Autoglym’s range of car care products (including Polar Wash and Ceramic Spray) was steeply discounted, with savings of over 50% on some examples.
Be sure to be signed up to the Parkers newsletter so you don’t miss any of the amazing deals on offer.
It’s worthwhile signing up to Amazon Prime before Black Friday. It’s a 30-day free trial and gives you access to faster, next-day delivery for free.
Does Cyber Monday matter?
Definitely. Aside from the usual deals on TVs and games consoles that Cyber Monday is known for, there will be some great bits of tech for your car available too. Expect to see deals on dash cams, aftermarket sat navs, pressure washers and more.
