Full UK prices and specs have been announced for the Peugeot 2008 and e-2008, and you’re able to order one now with deliveries beginning in February 2020, and April for the electric car.
The big news is the price of the EV version, with starts at £28,150 including government plug-in car grant, making it the second cheapest fully-electric SUV you can buy in the UK behind the MG ZS EV, which starts at £21,995.
The gap closes on monthly finance – where an e-2008 in Active trim (above) will cost you around £309 per month on Peugeot’s personal leasing (PCH) scheme with a highish £5,500 deposit*. For those looking an making the jump to an electric SUV, that’s reasonably affordable, especially considering the savings you’ll make at the fuel pumps.
You could alternatively go for a petrol 2008 in entry-level Active trim, and pay from £279 per month on Peugeot’s scheme over a 48 month period with an initial payment of £700. As always, it pays to shop around.
