Tonight, on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, Parkers was on-hand to bring you the highlights from the new vehicles unveiled on the stand.

So, without further ado. here’s what the Volkswagen Group – that’s VW, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Lamborghini, Bentley, Bugatti and Porsche – had to offer on this busy night in Switzerland.

VW Sport Coupe Concept GTE – concept car with plug-in hybrid drive. It uses a TSI petrol engine and two electric motors with a total power of 375bhp, while promising a fuel efficiency of 118mpg.

VW says in all-electric mode the range is 31 miles, while 0-62mpg can be dispatched in five seconds in GTE mode.

Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce – has a 6.5-litre engine that produces 750hp. It uses a four-wheel drive system to help put all that power down, accelerating from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds. The V12 engine managed to make itself heard even over the noise of the busy preview night.

SEAT 20V20 concept – a vision of how a SEAT crossover could look, with a tough SUV appearance and all-wheel drive. Possible powertrains include diesel and plug in hybrid, with up to 296bhp on offer. It has a high-tech all digital dashboard, encompassing the dials and centre console.

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 – wears Bentley’s experimental “EXP” nomenclature and promises two-seats and high performance. It fuses classic Bentley styling with modern looks and is a showcase for British handcrafting.

Skoda Superb – Enjoying its second global airing the Superb looks great in top level Laurin and Klement trim, complete with chrome finished wheels.

Porsche Cayman GT4 – one of the crowd favourites, the hardcore version of Porsche’s mid engine sports car made a bold arrival at the preview event in bright yellow paint.

Bugatti Veyron La Finale – the 450th and final model has been created as a homage to the ground breaking Veyron.
