Chevrolet Camaro Coupe (2012 - 2015) 6.2 V8 Coupe 2d Auto Owner Review

In their own words
I wanted a unique, scary beast of a car. And this is it. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. If you looked at fuel economy on here and tutted DON'T BUY IT, if you are concerned at the cost of a service/tax DON'T BUY IT (just had 2nd service with eng + diff oil £600) Insurance was £350 fc 45yr old. :-) It's so unique I have yet to see another on the road (unlike Mustangs yawn). Don't worry about parts, all can be sourced, it may take a little longer that's all. I've had the car 2 years now and every time I sit in the drivers seat it feels like a special occasion and I get out even more excited, I expected to become accustomed to it but it's still a great thrill. I was lucky since the previous owner was Chevrolet and was looked after, be patient and the ideal car will come up, but well worth the wait.
How reliable do you find the car?
The only problems that has occurred was on two occasions the car went into limp mode. I had fears of a massive garage bill until after considering when this happened (during very cold weather and unused for nearly a week) I bought a permanently fixed trickle charger for £50 and now when the bad weather hits I can leave the car plugged in and every couple of days start it up. No problems since.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
What can I say, AMAZING. The power, even when cruising at 80mph, just a dab on the pedal and you're pushed back in the seat again. Smooth acceleration, comfortable cabin, heads up display is the best thing ever, everyone looks as you drive by, which can be somewhat nerve-wracking but great too. So glad I bought the auto as you need two hands on the wheel as it's a BIG lump with speed bumps and road narrowings. Easily fit large shopping in the boot and squeeze two adults in the back, just.About their car
