Summary
What does this car say about you?
Practical, not flash. Someone who would rather keep cash in pocket as opposed to handing it over to BMW, Mercedes or Lexus.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like it. My daughter put 2,000 miles on it whilst I was on vacation!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, in fact I just bought an LTX which is a much better finish.
What are you likely to buy next?
AS above, an LTX. I will be needing a replacement high mpg second car, for which I will probably but a peugeot 308 HDi.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£12,000
When did you buy the car?
February 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
I did not shop around aggressively but consider that I got a reasonable cash deal. Vehicle was 9 months old with 10k miles.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Relocated to UK after a long period abroad, was looking for an estate at the time.
What was the dealer like?
I categorize car dealers in the region somewhere between lawyers and estate agents. These guys were a particulary shady bunch.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nice car to drive, except no cruise control on the LT.
What's it like to park?
OK for an SUV, the rear parking sensors are very helpful.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. Although a rear light was out when I collected it, immediately bafter a service.
What's most practical about your car?
Its size, resonable fuel economy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The LT is altogether rather basic, which is why I just traded it for a new LTX. The 4x4 drive works great, stability and ride is good. Favorite gadget is the audio system with its ipod plug in.
