Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I didn't want to follow the pack and took the risk to try a different vehicle. Unfortunately this time, I got bitten!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nice car, kitted out well, looks great. But they all know how frustrated I am with it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not a chance. Poor build, lacklustre performance, appalling fuel economy.
What are you likely to buy next?
Anything but a Chevrolet!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Uninspiring and dull, and at times quite frankly dangerous. On a motorway, this is a great cruising vehicle. But pulling out from junctions this vehicle is very slow and laborious. You have to choose your gaps very sensibly, as you press the accelerator to get moving, the engine roars and you have to wait for the turbo to kick in and give it some forward momentum. On an uphill stretch it loses its own ooomph, and quickly has to change down a gear. Fuel economy is shocking, mixed cycle driving the best I have ever achieved over a month is 28Mpg (with a 2.0L Diesel) and that was keeping the revs under 2.5k at all times. So poor performance and poor fuel economy :(
What's it like to park?
Parking is excellent, great visibility and easy to maneuver into place. The wheel turns easily.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong with the vehicle. However closing the bonnet resulted in a dent where I gently pushed the bonnet closed. The brushed aluminium trim is poor and the aluminium effect starts to rub off. The automatic headlights do not use any kind of logic, and if its dark they come on, and if its light they go off. This is great until you drive down a street at dusk/dawn which is lined with trees. The lights proceed to flick on and off, resulting in some fellow road users thinking I am flashing my lights at them! The centre arm rest slides forward, but could do with locking forwards and it just ends up sliding to and fro.
What's most practical about your car?
Having the second row of seats in the boot is very useful from time to time.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The MP3 input to the stereo is very useful, as are the folding door mirrors.
