Summary
What does this car say about you?
It looks expensive, but the value of the vehicle is outstanding, it says that I am a professional who likes to have fun at the same time.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it looks like it's got a lot more power than it actually has, they love the ride, and when we go out on our day trips, it always has to be my car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, definitely, because of the looks and the fact there aren't many round at the moment and the fact the running costs are fantastic and everyone who has been and looked at my car thinks it's great value for money and lots of fun, oh and it's good in the snow!
What are you likely to buy next?

Buying experience

Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,495
When did you buy the car?
April 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
I felt like I had an extremely good deal, based on the miles (low) and the actual condition of the car (immaculate), I felt like this was a good purchase, I had no part exchange which helped me towards a better deal with cash in hand and the negotiation was very good.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I bought this car based on the Executive look, it looks sporty and chunky, but keeping the professional look at the same time, whilst doing 45mpg.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer took my initial enquiry over the phone, assuring me of the quality overall, he took a refundable deposit subject to inspecting the vehicle, as I lived 300 miles away this was very important to me, he was very polite and informative and when arriving he greeted me at the train station and engaged in decent conversation, the showroom gave you an impression of professionalism and quality, at no point did I feel pressured and I felt I was appreciated and like a valued customer as he was asking me if I would like anything that he thought I would need, he even put a brand new MOT on the car even though it wasn't due at the time, without even asking me, he was very friendly and very honest, which is important in a dealer as you are trusting them with their product and service.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
If you drive it right it will be very efficient on it's return, at the moment I'm getting 45mpg out of it, it's very quiet inside and feels smooth.
What's it like to park?
Yes it's a saloon, but its dead easy to park, having reversing sensors as standard makes parking a doddle, clear vision out the back window and large wing mirrors makes it easy to judge where you are and how much space you have around you.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Since buying the Chevrolet, every single time I enter the car, I always take a moment to appreciate the quality and finish both on the outside and then the inside, it looks the part and it turns a few heads on the streets as there are very few around, I have never experienced any faults since having the car and it's just coming up to a year that I have owned it for, being a person who normally changes their vehicle every 4-5 months, this is the first car that I have been able to have without finding a replacement car that betters it, 12 cars later and this is the 13th, some say 13 is unlucky, I say 13 is the best number.
What's most practical about your car?
The space inside is very luxurious, lots of leg room for both front and rear passengers, the performance whilst driving is probably the most practical though, as the return I am getting is 45mpg if I drive it with care, so very efficient and inexpensive to run, along with the maintenance cost, it's just gone for its first service with myself and cost me £70 for oil, air, filter and plugs, how fantastic is that!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Favourite accessory, I've had the twin exhausts and rear defuser added to mine, finishes it off and makes it looks very nice indeed.
