(change model)
The Cruze performed very well in official Euro NCAP crash tests, gaining the maximum five stars and scoring maximum points in the frontal offset and side impact crash tests. It was also given high marks for child and pedestrian protection. All cars come with electronic stability control, traction control, ABS, brake assist, six airbags (including curtain airbags) and seat-belt reminders.
Minimum luggage capacity is a substantial 450 litres – although this isn’t as large as a Volkswagen Jetta or Skoda Octavia. However there are split folding rear seat as standard, so the Cruze is up to the task of transporting most of the items associated with everyday family life.
