I have read bad reviews about this car but only AFTER becoming an owner and they all seem to be regarding the models with lower spec than mine which is an LT. the only issue I had was it being sold to me, as a first car (so I was not very savvy) with a worn out clutch and fan belt. Had these changed and no further issues. Small and nippy, handles very well and easily and doesn’t break the bank with petrol. Also looks cool inside and out and comes with loads of stuff I wasn’t even aware of until I got the car and had a proper explore of it on my own. But after reading the reviews - if you’re looking at getting one, get the LT - seems I was lucky this one I chose just happened to be an LT! Ps, ignore where I put 50mpg - I don’t actually know, but it’s a LOT less than I was expecting.
How reliable do you find the car?
Spark was sold to me with a worn clutch and fan belt in need of replacement. This was done and I have had no further issues whatsoever!Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I didn’t look to buy this car for any other reason than I needed one as I am carer for my disabled mother and need to driver to appointments etc sometimes. It was within my price range and came with a lot more for the same money as other cars, it’s a respected manufacturer, it was 5 min down the road from where I lived at the time and I liked the look of it. Read through the manual and played around with it since owning it and it does way more than I was expecting!About their car
