What does this car say about you?
It's nice to be noticed, I suppose. The car looks like it should be worth £60k and as it is a rarity on our roads it is different.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it as it looks the part. It shocks people when they discover the true value. It is the only car where I have been stopped by complete strangers who seem to admire it !!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes though the new 300C is out. Not sure I like the bodywork over the old one but the interior is nicer and the entertainment system now controls seat, heating, etc etc.
What are you likely to buy next?
Either a Ford Mustang or another 300C.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - vehicle was reduced in price to just over £400 above a private purchase deal which was worth it when you consider the comprehensive guarantee that came with it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To replace my earlier 300C which I had owned for 4 years previously and was written off in an accident.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful. They collected me from the railway station and the car was in immaculate condition, including 4 new tyres.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's big and heavy so bends are not the best though it does have an automatic levelling system. It's at home on the motorway where it purrs along. Good acceleration and stopping power.
What's it like to park?
It's big and tight multi-storeys can be a bit of a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No - but my earlier one had throttle control problems which is common on the mercedes engine. Also the earlier one had both steering arms replaced at 30,000 and I noticed that this one had new steering arms so it must be a common problem. Heavy old beast I suppose !!
What's most practical about your car?
It's big and roomy. Plenty of luggage space though it could be more as the petrol tank is large even for this size of vehicle.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Mygig touchscreen/voice activated entertainment system/satnav. Large 30gb hard drive for downloading all your songs and an easy to use referencing system so you can organise the files. No CD multi-changer as the system records all your CD's onto the Hard drive !!.
