Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't like plain and ordinary, I care about what the car looks like. Common isn't good enough.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I've actually been asked by one or two passers-by what the car is - I like that. Friends didn't know what it was until they saw it, and family agree that the space inside is brilliant.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - but a higher trim level. The car is brilliant and does everything I ask it to and more. The interior space is beyond anything else, and the dashboard (though there is plastic surrounding the radio unit) and cabin feels expensive and a class above any Ford Focus or VW Golf. The performance is perfect, and economy (around 60mpg average) is beautiful to read.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Chrysler 300C. End of discussion.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
August 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
The price used compared to new was excellent, even more so compared to the common Focus' and Astras' that littered the forecourt.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Driving the car is a dream, the 1.6 turbo diesel makes 0-60 fly by, and with the flappy paddles, changing gear is almost F1-like, especially under vigorous acceleration (decreases time it takes to change gear). On the motorway, the engine is quiet and refined, and sits around or just below 2,000rpm.
What's it like to park?
Easy. It's one of the largest hatchbacks there are, but parking is made simple thanks to reversing aids, clear visibility through he back window and city steering, allowing light steering and easy manoeuvrability.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car has been brilliant and I've never had any problems at all. There was once instance (rather a big issue) where the handbrake released, but I don't know if this was a mechanical fault or if it was myself not applying the handbrake correctly...debatable at the moment...
What's most practical about your car?
The rear leg room and boot space is by far the best in it's class - huge space in the rear, and front, as well as huge load space in the boot - nothing else compares!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
City steering and parking aids are great, make tight spaces and small lanes through town as easy as walking.
