Summary
What does this car say about you?
Who cares but probably suggests an element of eccentricity.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Divides opinion People either love the distinctive style or they think it is a weird looking piece of junk, Someone came up to me in a car park to tell me how they loved the way it looked, never had that with any other modern car I've owned.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Maybe I really like it overall but it is now discontinued without a successor, if I must I will probably consider the related but rather more brash and mainstream Alfa Romeos.
What are you likely to buy next?
No idea but not soon!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The overall performance is excellent and relatively quiet too only downside is it is slightly sluggish at very low revs when cold the open road overtaking ability is far better than the modest power would suggest. The gear change is light, overall dash layout quite simply presented and easy once you are accustomed to it. Driving position takes a little getting used to as do the seats but both are fine. Handling is pleasant but not very sporty iand ride is comfy but a tad jittery but the car has the optional 18 inch wheels which make this worse.
What's it like to park?
It is ok but it does feel quite big and the rear view is a bit restricted.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It has a fault with the parking sensors which I haven't had time to get into our local dealer to sort yet otherwise it has been fine.
What's most practical about your car?
There is a lot of interior space, unfortunately the limited has the executive rear seat so is more comfy in the back but you can't slide the seats like cheaper versions this does restrict versatility a bit. The boot is adequate but has a deep and high lip and the seats do not fold very flat.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The air conditioned armrest compartment for drinks is good. The poltrona Frau leather is lovely and the car has that delightful leather odour when you open the door, the dashboard is partially covered in leather which makes it looks a lot better than the cheaper deltas.
