Overview
If you have been to the continent on your holidays then you’ll be forgiven for mixing this car up with a Lancia Delta. In the UK it’s badged as a Chrysler Delta because the Chrysler Fiat group doesn’t want to go to the trouble of relaunching the Lancia brand in this country (Lancia pulled out of the UK in 1993).
Marketing-speak in the motoring industry is usually taken with a pinch of salt but at the Delta launch the tagline was ‘We don’t want to do things like other people’ – a bold statement but no bolder than the front of the Delta.
