Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I'm spending too much on fuel for what I get back in comfort and luxury. It says I like space.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's a lovely car but did ask what it costs to run it. Answer is 'lots!'.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. The 7 seats are a con. It has 4 fantastic seats in the front and middle. The 3 at the back are on one bench that is useless for child seats. So for 7 adults, very comfortable - for 2 adults and more than 2 kids - not as safe as I'd like. I'm going to sell it for this reason.
What are you likely to buy next?
A car with 7 proper seats, fuel economy and a boot... if that's possible without buying an 8 seater+? Might have to sacrifice the experience of having to remove seats from the car (like you do with a Galaxy or similar). Surely someone can design a 7 individual seater, with a boot where the seats fold flat like a chrysler's but it doesn't cost the earth to run?? No??? I challenge the car industry to make this car - it would be perfect!

No
What price did you pay?
£10,995

Space, Stow 'n Go seating and a bit of luxury I've never had before
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a big lazy boat of a car that rolls around corners. Take it easy, leave 30mins before you normally would unless prepared to pay for the fuel to make up the time. It drinks fuel!!
What's it like to park?
Very easy. Steering lock is excellent, auto gears very easy, visibility good for both myself and my wife (I'm tall, she's not).

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I failed to spot the boot not shutting as I'd like it to - it's slightly out of line which worries me! I also needed to change the tyre - that was NOT fun. Make sure you figure out where the spare wheel (space saver thing) is and how different and experience it is to get it out - it sits under the hand brake and you need to lower it down with a fishing rod like contraption attached to a cable. It's a pain in the behind!!
What's most practical about your car?
The stow 'n go seating is fantastic as I had a 7 seater before. Not having to take any seats out is great. The car is huge and swallows everything. I bought 3 wardrobes from IKEA and fitted the lot in the car with my 3 young children safely strapped in their car seats (ish).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
MPG reader thing is very useful but also a horrible reminder of how expensive this car is to run. Reverse park sensors are a must.
