The steering wheel is a poor design. The driving position is comfortable and all-round visibility is good. Light power steering makes Neon highly manoeuvrable and easy to park. It doesn’t feel as big as it really is.

This generation Neon is a little bigger than before, but the rear seat could still be roomier. It’s a bit quieter, too, but nothing remarkable. The seats could offer more support on longer journeys.
