It's a yank tankish. It says im different on the road to everyone else!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love the colour, the styling. I'm often stopped and asked about it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes most deffo. I'm not keen on the mk2 due to the fact they decided to use pillared doors. If they stuck with the old design they couldnt have gone far wrong

Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was bought from E-bay as an accident damaged car. A CAT c write off. The only damage was to the radiator, bonnet and bumper. Otherwise the car was fine and with only 43,000 on the clock was well worth the money.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My father had one from new and I loved driving it. His was the LX spec with electric tilt and slide sunroof. He'd no problems with it and it wasn't bad on fuel.

What's it like to drive?
Sticks to the road like glue. It can be thrown around and is pretty good in snow. And did I tell you it was fast?
What's it like to park?
Easy as pie but with the high rear end can be a bit off putting.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes there have been a couple of faults. The auto box needs a service and takes it's time selecting reverse gear. Otherwise its been a gem.
What's most practical about your car?
Great to drive, driving position is great and boy is it quick. I've had 130mph out of it and it would do more.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Visor lights and rear view mirror lights.
