2.0 LX 4d
  • Summary

What does this car say about you?

Styling is middle aged, Interior is plasticy and BROWN, yes brown plastic and beige cloth (although I have seen a black leather interior which is nice) Since having the air-con serviced, which lasted a month, it smells of musty old man's pants whenever you start the engine. So far, two people have hit it in supermarket car parks and one in the street, all of which have left without leaving any details, surprise surprise.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My friends laugh at me, my fiancee refuses to go much farther than the supermarket in it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, no, no. I will never buy another chrysler again. You can't even buy a haynes manual for it, I imported one for a Dodge from america.

What are you likely to buy next?

Something british or japanese, for the styling and reliability.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £595

When did you buy the car?

    August 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

Bought from a used car lot, was offered "full service" and "Valet" upon purchase. Needless to say no service, and the "valet was just a hose down. I didn't expect much for the price, but when they offer, you take them at their word.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

    Rubish, rip-off merchant.

  • Driving it

    1 out of 5 1.0

    What's it like to drive?

Handles poorly, excessivly noisy, poor performance from a 2 litre engine.

    What's it like to park?

Relatively good views all round. Mirrors are quite good too.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

It hasn't run properly since about a month after purchase. The engine over-runs and revs up without pressing the throttle. It has blown a headlight and it is impossible to change it without removing the headlight unit from the car, hardly practical. Electrics are intermittent to say the least.

What's most practical about your car?

I have trouble thinking of anything possitive to say about it. The boot is quite a good size for the size of car.
