Chrysler PT Cruiser Cabriolet (2005 - 2008) 2.4 2d (LHD) Owner Review

FABULOUS RELIABLE, FUN & NOW VERY RARE CAR!! The UK LHD 2005 version was & is a very very rare car. Chrysler only imported just 100 cars as, 2.4L Limited LHD 2005 Petrol Cabriolets in UK spec. Today DVLA at the end of March 2019, confirm there were only 19 in total left, of all colours which were black, red, blue & silver. No more than 5 blue left. Mine is 1 of only 5 electric blue ones left, (although DVLA can only show 5 or less due to privacy laws) it could equally be the only blue one left! I have always loved it for its rarity, its sexy cool looks, its quirkiness, total fun & reliability. I have only never taken it out in the rain always kept it garaged, serviced & today has covered a whole 6,000 miles! I love keeping it in cotton wool & in its pristine & totally original condition. Driving it gives a quiet sense of buzz & excitement without the big show & pose of some Cabrios. It has a beautiful powerful creamy, torquey, smooth engine & bears many Daimler Mercedes quality parts. Unlike most Cabrios, you can easily accommodate four 6ft+ people with ease. I'm so glad I bought the LHD left hand drive version with its significantly more retro looks than the later spoilt squared up plasticy RHD. The LHD 2005 models are the real collectable choice & are the very very rare ones now which all adds to it driving experience & sense of enjoyment. I have had many cars. new & used, but this has been by far most reliable & a real enjoyment. Love it!
