Bloke with too many kids.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all think its very smart, would rather not have a people carrier but needs must.I think these look really good and as an LX it was loaded with extras , even a DVD in the roof for the kids.
Would you buy this car again and why?

Independent

No
What price did you pay?
£7,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes good deal - great trade centre in NW10. They gave me £2000 for my 51 plate 2.5 CRD LX Voyager which was very tired with 109000 miles on and needed cam belt clutch and other work.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had one before and wanted an auto.
What was the dealer like?
Very slick and very cheap, 05 plate auto 2.8 LX with 28K was £6300 - beat that !!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Well its not a sports car but is actually very quick off the mark compared to the lumbering 2.5 manual. The auto box is only four speed and very smooth with seamless gearshifts. However at the moment it is only averaging 23mpg driven lightly ouch ! It drinks it around town but I can get 39mpg on a run at a steady 75 mph. I will probably get a chip for it and hope to pump the mpg average up to 25-27 which would be ok. The 2.5 CRD manual averaged 32 mpg.
What's it like to park?
It has parking sensors so no problem , obviously it does not fit in snmall spaces but the sliding doors are a real bonus in car parks.
