Independent
Did you buy this car new?

June 2007

A reasonable deal for the age and mileage.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Friendly; let us take it out for a long drive on our own; didn't quibble about an AA inspection.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fairly easy to drive around town, although with higher mileage the clutch is getting heavier and the initial takeup can be jerky. Handles well on the open road. Not suitable for long journeys - the drivers seat is just not supportive enough.
What's it like to park?
Pretty easy, although you can't see the front at all.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Couple of warning lights have come on meaning electrical repairs. Not that cheap to do.
What's most practical about your car?
The space is fantastic.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The sliding rear doors, although there's a knack to opening them and most guests have to be rescued by one of the family.
