Summary
What does this car say about you?
Modern, stylish and likes to be that little bit different being a GT model.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it. Most people say it's nice but some people will say it's a bit too much for their personal tastes.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes and no. Yes - it's cheap fun, insurance good, drives very well and can carry 3 passengers well. No - As with any French car, it tends to rattle a little and things will fall apart after a while but depends on mileage and history really. Tax band is quite steep too. Currently paying £170 a year on this model.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably keep the GT and run it into the ground. After a few years, probably looking for a BMW 5 Series M Sport.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The driving position is perfect, seat can be adjusted up and down and seating wheel rake adjustment. General driving is good, responsive and handles well. Copes with hills very well and cruises on motorways nicely. I average 41mpg most of time which is very good for a 1.6 engine.
What's it like to park?
Average comparing it to normal hatchbacks. The turning circle could be better, especially turning in the road. That said, it's a little bit shorter compared to more modern hatchbacks on the current market so makes it easier to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Apart from serviceable items and had to replace timing belt and water pump, it's been reliable.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is a good size and surprising how much you can fit into it, despite people saying it's small. Storage is excellent, plenty of cubby holes and a dashboard lid compartment that comes in handy for paperwork. Three drink holders also come in useful. The split-folding rear tailgate is a good idea and getting shopping in and out is a doddle with it.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Standard sound system is very impressive. After the 'loudness' option has been activated, it sounds very good for a standard stereo.
