Summary
What does this car say about you?
Driver wants a fairly grown up car thats still small and fairly fashionable, outside of the Fiesta and Corsa norm.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it, but they haven't had to live with it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. They are starting to look very dated and the quality and drive are below average in the class.
What are you likely to buy next?
Ive bought a Suzuki Swift Sport to be collected this week.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,800
When did you buy the car?
April 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Decent price, cheaper than book-price. However, this was only because another (cheaper) C2 which i had 'reserved' was sold. They knocked this one down to the same price for me. Can't say fairer.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Sales man was very friendly, honest and willing. I found the car online and they were able to move it to my local branch for me. The after sales service was abit iffy when I requested work to be completed on the warranty.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very 'frisky' and fun if you're in the mood but smooth and refined when you're not. Although it feels quick around town or on a tight lane, its a little asthmatic when the road opens up. Once you're up to speed, and if you don't mind a bit of noise, you can happily keep with over-taking traffic on the motorway.
What's it like to park?
Easiest I've ever come across.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The build quality is by far the biggest problem: The bonnet release snapped off within two weeks of purchase, the interior trim is very easily scratched, seats are easily worn, squeaky seats and parcel shelf clips snap a little more every time you remove the shelf. I also had electrical problems: the rev counter died then fixed its self the next day, the engine stalls sometimes when in neutral for no clear reason, and the dash is constantly warning me of a non-existent "faulty side lamp".
What's most practical about your car?
Although room in the boot and backseats is limited, the layout is very flexible. All seats are completely adjustable. Back seats are on independent rails to swap leg room for boot space and can be folded flat or away completely to create a little van. The split tailgate is useful too, making loading the car much easier.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Tailgate, hand controls for stereo, and one-touch windows are great but the best by far in the trip computer- It's easy to use and comprehend, and shows average speed, consumption, instant consumption, distance travelled and distance to fuel needed.
