What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Would you buy this car again and why?
No - Terrible service from dealer, scary brake problem which is unexcusable for a car straight out of the dealership - I should have returned it...

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£10,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2005
Did you get a good deal and why?
No - I was "forced" to buy the car before the end of the month to benefit from a cashback deal which was going to expire - only to find out that the new cashback was substantially higher. They also delayed delivery by one week.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Bad - had no knowledge of car's whichsoever, and I refused to return to that dealer and looked for a different one for servicing

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a nice drive (when the brakes work). Good engine, good response, nice suspension. It does put a smile on my face (when I am not worried about if I am actually going to be able to stop).
What's it like to park?
Easy - the car is so small, fits anywhere.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
On my way home from the dealership for the first time (brand new car!) the brakes failed and I almost had an accident. Drove it straight back and they could not find the problem (it only happened occasionally), and told me this is "normal" and that I should drive home. Of course it happened again, so I took the car to a new dealer. It took them 15 days and 200 miles of driving to fix it (I left the car with 15 miles on the clock, got it back with 215 miles!). Terrible service. The brakes have never worked very well since (they could not bleed it properly) and I lost all confidence in this car.
What's most practical about your car?
It's small, easy to park, fits anywhere.
