Citroën C3 Aircross SUV (2017 - 2024) Flair PureTech 130 S&S EAT6 auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
The C3 Aircross is a good car. Roomy, large boot and adaptable seating. The ski flap in rear seat centre is very useful for carrying long items. Will take a 2.4m length of timber with all seats up. The mpg is good for the cars engine power, 130bhp, and the auto box. Returns about 1 mpg less than my 2017 C3 Flair 110 auto. Currently my trips are short and in town. It has some quirks in that some buttons work in opposite sense to those on the hatchback C3s, eg. rotary switches on steering wheel. The audio system is very good, though the USB sorting of tunes can sometimes gives weird selections Voice selection of tunes is good. Sat Nav, which came with the car, is very good. The voice directions are clear. Haven't yet found how to change phone ring tone but can live with that. Have parking assist, that is a bit disconcerting when first used but no doubt I'll get use to it. Parking sensors front and rear are very good and the reversing camera with overhead and 3D viewing excellent. It is also fitted with obstacle warning. The mirrors on mine are fitted with blind spot warning lights. These are an optional extra which I find very useful on dual carriageways etc. In the bottom of the door mirrors are puddle lights, again a nice touch. Overall I find this car comfortable, roomy, powerful 130 bhp, relaxing to drive with the 6 speed torque converter box and the cruise control and speed limiter. This car comes with a head up display as standard. This displays speed, speed limits, and Sat Nav directions. The handbrake lever takes a bit of getting use too, it's a paddle type with the release button under the paddle. My car has auto braking. This works but is disconcerting the first time it operates. The range of detection can be adjusted in the safety menu. Access is good, doors open wide. However the front door armrests do make finding the seatbelt buckles a little difficult as they slide down to the lower part of the stowed belt. Rear seat belts have clips on the seat back to retain them. The 3rd seat, in the middle of the rear, belt stows in the roof like the earlier Xsara Picasso's did. Rearview mirror is self dipping. The car comes with auto headlights but there is no OFF position. I feel that is an error in not providing the ability to switch them off. The sensor seems to be set at too bright a level so when I wouldn't have the lights on they are. It also has the system that lights the gutter when you turn left or right by using the front fog lights. As is the norm these days it has DRLs and the rear side lights are on during the day. I opted for the upgraded sound system which has a subwoofer in the boot behind the right-hand trim panel and a centre speaker in the front on top of dash. I graduated to this car from a C3 2017 Flair auto. I have not been disappointed.
