Economy
Value
Depreciation is a factor, otherwise a lot for your money
Costs
On the HD1 £20. It gets you 300 miles!
-
On the road
Driving
Great acceleration, but quickly goes off the boil if you need to lift off, poor ride quality
Performance
Strong and flexible turbo engine, brakes are overly sharp in town and wooly at speed. The handling is nothing special
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never had a problem, although occasionally the remote central locking plipper goes awol, but usually comes back within half an hour
Image
Stylish design a mixture of AUDI TT at front and Punto-esque rear.
Comfort
Hard to get comfortable due to lack of lumbar adjustment, rear not too bad, but low screen and thick A-pillars hinder visibility
