Summary
What does this car say about you?
It now says 'Ha! Ha!, Fooled you with my quirky appearance into thinking that I would be really reliable!'
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like the look of it and find it comfortable.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not in a million years, due to the constant problems with the auto diagnostic warning light coming on and no one able to tell me why. If only I'd read all of the reviews before I bought it!
What are you likely to buy next?
I'm going to buy a Yaris 1.5 sport, as I still like small cars but I would like a reliable one.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,400
When did you buy the car?
March 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was on sale at £4800 and I asked for £400 off, which they agreed to very quickly. This was a car supermarket and I think that they rarely sell at the price shown.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I don't like enormous cars, so wanted a small one and thought that this looked nice and quirky.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was fine and helpful but not being a Citroen dealer they didn't know a great deal about this particular car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Nippy enough on straight runs but after a few months it really began to struggle up hills, don't get this if you like real speed on motorways, I'd say its more of a town car. Comfortable to drive as you sit quite high up.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park thanks to its compact size.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
After a few months of good performance I had problems with the car losing power, misfiring, the coil pack needed replacing, the auto diagnostic light kept coming on and each time I paid to have it checked and within 2 days it was back on again. After 2 weeks and over £700 I just couldn't throw any more money at it so Im afraid it has to go.
What's most practical about your car?
The size and ease of parking in relatively small spaces.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
None in particular.
