Citroën C4 Picasso (2007 - 2013) 2.0 HDi VTR+ 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
It can a gamble buying a 2nd hand car, especially when there's 78,000 on the clock and is 8 years. But I can honestly say that the Picasso is sweet as a nut and cannot fault the engine capabilities and passenger & luggage room. I was "lucky" it was a 6 speed manual with an already fitted towbar for towing, but even more so with only one previous owner who obviously cared for it well, as I had FSH documents. The only precaution I made was to have the cambelt changed at 85,000 miles, not wishing to risk the recommended 120,000 or 10 years use. All in all I can't recommended the Picasso enough, and look forward to many more miles & years motoring in it.
How reliable do you find the car?
Had the heater fan speed control knob stick on full speed or off. Found out to replace the resistor unit, situated under the steering wheel panel. For a few quid off eBay for a replacement, job done (albeit a bit fiddly) in an hour.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Bought the 2.0Hdi engine for towing a caravan. Although my previous Renault Scenic 1.6 petrol was adequate, I upgraded our caravan to a 1400kg model and the Citreon pulls it with ease.About their car
