Citroën C4 Picasso (2013 - 2018) 1.6 BlueHDi VTR+ 5d EAT6 Owner Review

I purchased this car to replace Renault Scenic which was a great car but after 17 years was getting tired. The C4 has been a superb replacement, equally practical with plenty of space for five people and luggage. The boot space is generous even without folding down the split rear seats, but is huge with the sets folded flat. The ability to fold the front passenger seat almost flat is also handy for long loads. If you want an automatic then you really should get the most recent EAT6 gearbox, which is very smooth compared to the rather clunky EGT box on earlier models. The 1.6 diesel is smooth, quiet and torquey. My average fuel economy is 58mpg, based on 70mph motorway cruising. However if you are prepared to cruise at 60mph then 70mpg is easily possible. the best car I've owned.
