Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hopefully it says stylish and cool, although it most likely says cheap with French sympathies.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The relaxed ride (the car actually encourages you to drive in a calm manner!). Some of them like the looks too.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, although when I come to that point I hope to able to go hot-hatch.
What are you likely to buy next?
Some hot hatch, possibly the 180bhp lump of a C4 Coupe or, more likely, a Leon or A3.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,495
When did you buy the car?
August 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Was an average deal, but there aren't many second hand yet so not much to go on. Also, due to low supply, it was bound to be taken by someone else if I didn't go for it then.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Decent price with loads of gadgets and an extremely low mileage. It is also a great looker.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpfull. They sorted everything out with minimal fuss. Most other dealers I have spoken to weren't as happy to help as I am only 20 and thought I was pulling their leg.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very smooth, no engine noise intrudes up to and including legal limits if driven calmly, and very little wind or road noise. If pedal is fused to the metal then there is obviously some noise, but not in a bad way. Extremely comfortable.
What's it like to park?
Easier than it looks, although it doesn't fit in to the tiny spaces my old 106 did.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not as yet. Hopefully never.
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I would say the 'flickey' key, but that sounds sad. So I will follow the flock and say the cruise control.
