Citroën C4 Hatchback (2011 - 2018) 1.6 e-HDi (115bhp) VTR+ 5d ETG6 Owner Review

I needed a car that was reasonably priced, reasonably economical, reliable and comfortable to commute in. My daily commute is 25 miles each way, so 50 a day, 250 a week. For me a diesel fitted the bill. A gallon a day is my benchmark, this car meets that comfortably with fuel left over. It might not have the quickest acceleration but then swifter cars tend to cost more to buy and to run so this car is ok by me. A good driving position is easy to achieve. On the downside, engine noise can be intrusive but I just turn the radio up a bit more. The turning circle is fairly large but the rear parking sensors help mitigate this. The remote central locking and power fold door mirrors are helpful - a quick glance will confirm that I have remembered to lock the car. Tyres tend to last well. This car has been cheap to run and never missed a beat.
