What does this car say about you?
It says that I am 53 with a 27-year old daughter. It also says that I am an optimist and brave enough to take a chance on Citroen's less than impressive reliability record.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The general response seems to be positive. People that have rode in the car are impressed with the ride and refinement.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would not hesitate to buy another C4 if the deal was right.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably another medium size hatch. The clincher will be the overall package.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I sourced the car through an online broker but did the deal through a franchised dealer. The price was right and the p/x offer was more than fair.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The deal. 26% discount, a good p/x offer, 4 years' 0% finance and 3 years' free servicing.
What was the dealer like?
Communication with the dealer was excellent throughout the purchase process. The showroom was very clean and welcoming and the car was prepared to a high standard.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
If you believe the reviews you would expect the C4 to be a bit stodgy and uninspiring. I have not found this to be the case. The ride is well controlled and the handling is safe for normal road use. The engine is very refined and so far I am very impressed with the fuel economy.
What's it like to park?
The rear parking sensors are a boon and mitigate against the slightly small rear window. The bulbous front may be a problem to some but, as yet, I have managed to avoid the neighbours cars!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not in a week! The car appears to be well screwed together. Not to German standards but much better than previous French purchases. Fingers crossed for long term reliability.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is huge and there is enough space and storage within the cabin for my purposes.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The DAB radio is great and I use the usb socket for my flash drive. Parking sensors and cruise control are also very welcome.
