Summary
What does this car say about you?
- I do like the unique and original looks of a Citroën, maybe I am quit arty? probably. - I don't care about reliability, cars should look beautiful (not so much C5, but Citroën in general). - I don't know much about cars, I just bought it because it looks sensible, I am a middle aged mum.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family casts their eyes upwards when I turn ignition and silence. made new good friends in the RAC, they think its pretty unremarkable too. friends that the ride height adjustment is cool, although I never liked using it in the fear that it might break.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, it doesn't have much going for it. Its the opposite to a workhorse.
What are you likely to buy next?
Going back to Subaru. a drive that's alive.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Its not a very fast car, even when its not in go-home mode. very soft ride. I wish you could turn off the seat belt alarm, however that's just my personal preference (not liking being told what to do by a car).
What's it like to park?
The nose sticks out a little more than most in front (But it is French I suppose!!).

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. computer was soft in the head. It always gave random messages which was annoying. Car drove in go-home mode 50% of the time and no garages could find out why? But I think it did need a new ecu. constant plastic plates falling off the bottom of the car. We finally decided to let it go after we got fed up with getting stranded due to electrical problems when it wouldn't start, sometimes a fuse fixed it and sometimes not, again, no garages could find the cause, and the rear suspension went with not even 100k on the car, as well as other major bits which would have cost stupid money that offered no guarantees on such a hopeless car.
What's most practical about your car?
A fair bit of room, and it has roof rails and can tow. comfy ride, if your into the super sponginess, for me, it made me feel a bit queezy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Risible ride height was very handy.
