Summary
What does this car say about you?
It's different, it stands out from the boring Mondeos and german cars. The TV advert said it was Unmistakeably German, built in France. The quality of the car is incredibly high. After 30,000 miles and 3 years there isn't a single rattle or squeak. All of the switches work perfectly and nothing has come loose or shown any sign of aging.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
People are incredibly complimentary about it. Particularly rear seat comfort.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I don't need a car as big as this, so not sure I would buy another large saloon. I miss the practicality of a hatchback.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'm really sad to see this car go. It's being replaced with a Citroen DS4. You simply cannot beat Citroen's value for money and reliability.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I got the vehicle on a personal contract hire deal. At the time, a 3 year deal on this vehicle was cheaper than a mid-range Fiesta.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Value for money, availability, previous good experience of Citroen.
What was the dealer like?
I bought it via email and telephone contact as I knew what I wanted. Everything was perfect.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's not the quickest car, but pulls away sharply from a junction. Amazingly confortable at speed. Just a little sluggish mid-range (but it is only a 1.8 and I didn't buy it for performance).
What's it like to park?
It's a big car, so getting into a car park bay at the supermarket can be tricky. It overhangs quite a bit. BUT, all-round visibility is excellent. Mine doesn't have parking sensors, but have yet to have a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car has been amazingly reliable. Other than routine service and tyres, the car had one recall (something to do with the trim around the windscreen) and the levelling motor failed in one of the headlights, this was rectified under warranty by the dealer.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is huge and accessible. The seats are like comfy, but supportive, arm chairs.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The cornering lights are really good.
