Fairly steady sensible sort of person (but I am not!!!).Look for value for money.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They are all quietly impressed with it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, it is so comfortable, quiet, performs more than well enough. I am sold on big Citroens with oleo pneumatic suspension, they drive beautifully. C5's finish production in 2016 and this suspension (Citroen's DNA) dies with it. I will buy a 2015/16 model when this one has gone around the clock twice. One niggle, not enough output from the sound system, I like loud rock'n'roll, I was expecting more output.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Maybe a few £'s over a private sale but I bought it from an independent Citroen specialist in Norfolk. FSH, all new tyres, just serviced, spotless inside & out, and the full spec that I wanted (except for the moonroof!).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had a 2003 C5 2.0l diesel for 8 years and wanted an updated replacement.
What was the dealer like?
An independent Citroen specialist, let me have a good look at all the Citroens, C5'5, C6, XM etc. Easy and pleasant to deal with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Sublime. The 160bhp diesel accelerates very well, cruises quietly and the suspension is a dream. The full (not half fabric!) leather seats add a real touch of class and in winter, the heated seats are an extra delight.
What's it like to park?
Easy, rear parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only put 3,000 miles on it in the past 6 weeks, no issues. Did 175,000 of the 220,000 in my old C5, never let me down, original exhaust, never used oil, battery lasted 11 yrs. Hope this one does as well.
What's most practical about your car?
Tailgate opening, fold flat rear seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated, massage, electric leather seats. Electric tailgate.
