Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I like my gadgets and comfort
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Its stylish, well built and more upmarket than the Mondeo/Insignia and stands it's ground in the company car park well.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Having had one with all the options, I would want something different now, but I strongly recommend it to business people. There is a real difference between the standard model and the Exclusive - they feel like different cars (especially the ones with the light interior), there is a risk that the standard model may become a common taxi or repmobile.
What are you likely to buy next?
I've enjoyed the car so much that I'm now looking for a C6

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
June 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Company Car - reallocation list, everyone else wanted BMW/Audi, so it was cheap and had all the extras. Turned out to be a cracker of a car and a hard to replace.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Company Car - reallocation list, no one else wanted it so it was cheap.
What was the dealer like?
Easy to deal with but not set up to handle business customers, more interested in selling cheap C1/C2/C3's. Not like the experience you get when you enter the Lexus or Jag showroom...

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
fine, no sports car but happy cruising at motorway speeds, the later engines have more power. Comfort is compromised by the 19inch wheels, the standard 17inch ride is lovely. The real pleasure is enjoying the cream leather interior and sitting in traffic jams with the massage seat and fab stereo on.
What's it like to park?
Easy, good visibility and parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Tyre pressure sensors blowing causing tyre to deflate, after 3 failures the dealer finally replaced them all. 19inch wheels look good but replacement tyres are very very expensive.
What's most practical about your car?
Torch in boot, electric boot. Adjustable height has actually been useful a couple of times. Auto wipers and lights - you don't miss it till it's gone!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cream leather Massage Seats, panoramic roof is great with the kids.
