Summary
What does this car say about you?
I need a big red multi-purpose vehicle?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's big, it's red, it's parked on my drive.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. But only because Citroen have stopped production and examples in this spec are rarer than hen's teeth.
What are you likely to buy next?
No idea. Big MPVs are now incredibly unfashionable and all the manufacturers are scaling down. I guess the new VW Sharan is the nearest thing on the market.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,000
When did you buy the car?
October 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Depreciation on this car is HUGE. Car was 2.5yrs old with 60k on clock due to being airport run lease. Immaculate inside and out and full Citroen service history. New this car would have cost £29k. I got £20k knocked off that. Better than Glass or Parker's guide.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed refined but capable load lugger with sliding doors.
What was the dealer like?
Sale was friendly and efficient enough. Probably didn't get the best p/x on old car although it was hardly a crock of gold.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I upgraded to this from a Fiat Ulysse 2.0i petrol with 4 speed auto which in comparison was a lumbering thirsty pig. The combination of the 2.2Hdi 173hp Twin-turbo and 6 speed auto box is a joy. Progress 50-70mph is very quick. On a quiet motorway run it returns 45mpg.
What's it like to park?
Parking sensors front and back means you can park it with your eyes shut. Sliding doors makes access a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not had it that long but the electric height adjust on driver's seat is knackered. Flap which covers internal fusebox by driver's right knee doesn't stay shut. Other than that it's all good.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a massive box on wheels. Seats in it sits 7 adults. Seats out it swallows a three seater sofa. How more practical can you get?
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric sliding doors. Electric sliding doors. Electric sliding doors. Did I mention it has electric sliding doors.
